KPMG, Friedrich Ebert Stiftlung, ALBtelecom & Eagle Mobile, Intesa Sanpaolo and Ande-LM were the companies hosted by the Young Economists Network at Epoka University conference on 22 November 2014.
Speakers from each company contributed on a variety of topics;
Mr. Steven Nutley of KPMG, one of the largest global audit firms illustrated the role of auditing and its effect on the development of a company. Ms. Elena Pici, a former student of Epoka University and current employee at Friedrich Ebert Stiftung examined the emerging of students into the workplace after university. Moreover Ms. Pici shared some advice on what students can do during their study period to be better prepared for future employment.
Ms. Adela Dibra and Ms. Besiana Alikaj from ALBtelecom & Eagle Mobile presented their views on the importance of creative marketing and the power of effective communication.
Next, Ms. Ermelinda Dosti from Intesa Sanpaolo Bank introduced the steps it takes into developing, creating and implementing a new service or product in today’s market.
Lastly, Ms. Adeila Makashi from Ande-LM presented the power of effective communication within a company.
All speakers encouraged students in the audience to get involved and actively debate during their presentations.
